HOW TO: LATCH HOOK FINISHING

BASIC FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Carefully trim any uneven yarns.

Trim the canvas, leaving a 1” (2.5cm) border around your design

Fold border to the back of your project

3. Fold border to the back of your project.

Whip stitch border into place

4. Whip stitch border into place.


MAKING A PILLOW INSTRUCTIONS

1. Carefully trim any uneven yarns with a pair of scissors.

2. Trim your canvas, leaving a 1” [2.5 cm] border around your design.

3. Cut a piece of fabric for the back of the pillow 1” [2.5 cm] larger than your design.

4. With the right sides of your design and your fabric together, sew along 3 sides.

5. Turn right side out and insert pillow form.

6. Whip stitch remaining side closed.

MAKING A WALL HANGING

1. Carefully trim any uneven yarns with a pair of scissors.

Trim the canvas, leaving a 1” (2.5cm) border around your design

Cut a length of rug binding the same length as the top of your design to create a pocket for the dowel or rod
